The welding station 3680 is a resistance welding system controlled by an automatic microprocessor developed by TECNA specifically for the car body shop industry.
The touch screen digital display of the welding control unit allows the operator to set and monitor all welding parameters according to the tools used and the characteristics (material, thickness, number of layers) of the sheets to be welded.
The built-in welding transformer is fully designed and manufactured by TECNA.
The transformer, the arms and the electrodes are water-cooled through a heat exchanger in order to further optimize the productivity of the equipment and increase the duty cycle.
The supporting arm includes a TECNA balancer, designed to guarantee both comfort and safety.
New clamping system
The new push pull system consists of a patented mechanism that presents several important updates if compared with the traditional Allen key or fixed external lever arm-opening systems:
- it is integrated into the gun structure, virtually eliminating the risk of potential accidental openings that could damage the gun and the possibility of losing the key not anchored to the system;
- it guarantees a more precise and smoother clamping;
- it contains an isolated knob that protects from the risk of short circuits.
